Its been a long, long summer. (Btw, where did it go? )

I'm sorry for the lack of updates, or posting.

After we finally got my aunt on SSI Disability, we've still been jumping through hoops for the government. Plus she's still driving us batty. : /

Most of the last month and this month, has been going out to the house that my aunt & grandma had lived in to clean it out so that it might actually sell. (Ha!) You would not believe the insane number of cookbooks or quilting books that my aunt had stashed everywhere! Not to mention the numerous magazines.... Most of the books have never been out of the packaging that they had been mailed in! (Never used in like 5 to 30 yrs! And yes, I typed 30 YRS!!!) For example, we found a NEW IN BOX portable stereo that plays vinyl records! (Yes, VINYL RECORDS!!!) We've been clearing out this house almost every day, 3-6 hrs at a time, since August 4th. (We take a days off so we don't try to kill ourselves out of madness!) We've done 8 or 9 trips to the dump to get rid of the garbage. Still have that many more to go... (If this isn't hoarding, I most be crazy!)

Oh how I envy the people who get estates that get nice stuff that is sell-able and doesn't make them have to do another full time job & costs them money! We just rented a Rug Doctor carpet cleaner to get the cat/dog pee out of the carpet. Cost us $50, but it got the smell out. (Lucky bastards...)

My brain hurts now...

On a brighter note, when the house does sell, (HA!), we're gonna get the things we've been putting off since we had to take full care of my aunt. Like getting a new porch floor, (which is sand & plywood right now), new gate posts over the sidewalk, finishing the stalls in the horse barn & the cow barn with rubber mats, ( ), getting Photoshop & computer upgrades, new roof on the house, (Steel roofing ftw!)and windows that you can see through and open without fear! ( )

Plus, I've been debating on starting a little Warcraft blog (mainly for fun & role play purpose). Maybe it'll keep me sane till things start getting better. (Ha!) Just don't know where yet, as I have deleted my MyOtaku blog & my LJ one. I was thinking about BlogSpot, but I don't know quite yet... any suggestions? (FB & Twitter don't count. )

And it's looking like NoBrand is up in the air this year, as one person got bored with it and they all may or may not be able afford to go. It's really no surprise to me, my life is full of disappointments. It'll be just like everything else. After a while, you just sorta get used to it.

Well, I think I've bored/depressed you all enough for now. Hopefully, I'll start to post a bit more often again. Who knows, maybe even a post a pic! (Ha!)
